Assassin Guide

Assassin in AION 2: role, weapons, strengths, weaknesses, leveling experience and Daevanion priority, plus solo and group performance.

Assassin is the stealth burst class. It wins fights by deciding when they start: open from concealment, unload a short burst window, then reposition before the target can answer. Community guides name Assassin first for one-on-one and small-scale PvP, and second for players who want a mechanically demanding character rather than a forgiving one.

Leveling experience

Quest with stealth pulls on isolated mobs and reset between windows. Small mistakes cost more health than on a Gladiator, but kill speed is high enough that leveling feels fast once the opener routine is muscle memory.

Daevanion priority

Skill points go into critical and burst modifiers, with a single mobility or escape node. Assassin Daevanion builds are the least forgiving of wasted points because the class has no backup plan for a dead burst window.

Before you commit to Assassin

Two checks are worth doing before you invest a season of playtime. First, confirm the class is on the client you actually play, because availability is not identical across regions. Second, decide whether you care more about solo kill speed or about being wanted by a group, since those two preferences point at different classes and the decision is much cheaper now than after fifty levels of Daevanion investment.
